Match report I had a prediction this morning that it was going to be a good day Recently moving to Chelmsford on Thursday and feeling rather tired and not looking that forward to Saturday but what a Saturday it turned out
We yet again won the toss and decided to Bowl first as we have the depth of Bowling after being let down by a so called Bowler who couldn't be bothered to turn up we asked Cheryl Hazel if she wanted to play but she refused and called Andy Cawson
We started bowling but a shaky start by all bowlers but the wickets kept on going some midfields and lazy fielding saw Bentley creep fast the 200 barrier until a Flurry of wickets from Ryan Kevin peter and Mick saw the all out for 223,
This was followed by a substantial Tea including home made profiteroles supplied by Cheryl Hazel Saw the Boreham Go into bat
This was Followed by a PETER KETTLEY master class in batting 161 no able backed up by C Chatters and G Davies and our Guest Andy Cawson scoring the winning 4 with 5 overs to spare
A quiet night was held at Boreham CC Drinking Fruit Squash and Ginger Cake
