The club has adopted the following Code of Conduct and commended it to all its officials, players, volunteers, and visitors.

The club accepts responsibility for the behaviour of its officials and players and will take disciplinary action against any individual who fails to comply with this code.

- We will not accept intimidation, aggressive behaviour, verbal abuse or any deliberate distraction towards our opponents.
- We will not accept intimidation, aggressive behaviour, verbal abuse or any deliberate distraction towards our teammates.
- We will not accept intimidation, aggressive behaviour, verbal abuse or any deliberate provocation towards visitors or spectators.
- We will not accept dissent at the umpires’ decisions which, when made, are classed as final.
Those players asked to umpire must act professionally, the use of mobile phones whilst umpiring is strictly forbidden.
We have acquainted all our officials and players of our Code of Conduct. We except our captains and team managers to exercise suitable control over their teams.
Club Official's And Volunteer's-must:
- Consider the well-being and safety of participants before the development of performance.
- Develop an appropriate working relationship with participants based on mutual trust and respect.
- Make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and experience of those taking part and promote the positive aspect of the sport (e.g. fair play).
- Display consistently high standards or behaviour and appearance. Follow the guidelines laid down by the National Governing Body and the club itself.
- Hold the appropriate valid qualifications and insurance cover. Never exert undue influence over performers to obtain personal benefit or reward.
- Never condone rule violation, rough play, or the use of prohibitive substances.
Parent's / Carer's / Members:
- Encourage your child to learn the laws and play within a team.
- Discourage unfair play and arguing with the officials present.
- Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
- Never force your child to take part in sport. Set a good example by recognising fair play and good performance of all.
- Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.
- Publicly accept the official's decisions.
- Support your child's involvement and help them enjoy their sport. Always use appropriate language at all times.
Social Media:
No player or club member shall use any social networking site or private group to make any offensive comments about any player or any club. This may also render the author liable to prosecution or other legal action. Such comments soon spread around the world and can be seen by more people than those who make such comments realise. We would like to think that our club is like a big family, and that friendly banter is kept to the levels one would normally expect.
The use of any profanities, offensive tweets or comments will be investigated and dealt with accordingly by the committee.
Match Selections:
If you have been selected for an upcoming match then you must give at the very least two days’ notice that you are unable to play, unless there are special circumstances as to why you are unable to play.
Sometimes different clubs ask our members to play in their friendly teams as they may be short of players, this is rare but it happens, if you are asked and you have already confirmed you are playing for Boreham (your parent club) then playing for a different club is not permitted and you should decline any offers.
If you are found to be breaking the statement then an investigation will be held with an explanation required.
