Boreham & Roxwell Cricket Club Lost by 276 Runs.

Match report As the day started in a very positive note looking forward to our first victory of the 2014 season
Boreham won the toss and it was decided that we would bowl first as Rayleigh first two games they were out for 70 and 90
Peter K and Ryan D opened Ryan Struck early with a ball that is described as a Daisy Cutter Hitting the deck and sticking to it and hitting the timbers Both bowlers were bowling some great balls but Lady Luck and a Plumb LBW off Peter K did not get a break through
We perceived through the heat of the day using all the remaining players to Bowl Sammy Brock,Owen Cooper, Chris Epson,Jamie Baines,Joffy,Gary D,Matty Hazel, all took there turn with the ball
We fielded to a high standard even when Rayleigh Scored over 300 runs we were still trying to take wickets in the end 4
I would like to say THANK YOU to all those players who turned up yesterday and played This included 2 Essex Disability Players
We batted but after the Max effort in the field Poor shot selection took its toll and we fell short once again.
I would like to Say that we had only 10 Players after people Crying Off at the last minute if we are ever going to take this club forward we must have commitment and team spirit the same as we had today there Whole team congratulated us on our performance and attitude in such a one sided game,
