Match report At the Recreation Ground another lost toss saw Boreham seconds, minus the injured Micky Raynor all out for 58 against Chignall II, though a dig-in special from Mike Bruder (4 runs from 30 balls) and Ryan Davies (3 from 35 balls) was an epic lesson in Boycott-esque batting. Rob Hepworth was pleased to get back in the runs with 22 and Graham Davies finished 10 not out also digging in. In the run chase debutant Jack Linsell hit the stumps for a tremendous run out, and Ryan Davies showed his continued form with an early LBW in a bright spell with the new ball (5-1-15-1). Hepworth also bowling well with just 6 runs from 4 overs (4-2-6-0). Thirteen overs were needed to chase down the total.

Another losing weekend but still signs of improvement for a second eleven getting younger and a first eleven showing improvement with the bat.
