Match report Away at Purleigh the first eleven lost by 218 runs after a stunning 162 not out from Freeguard for the hosts dominated the Boreham attack. Ken Greenaway was able to fight back with 3 wickets (12-1-78-3), Liam Watts assisting with two wickets including that of the Purleigh top scorer (12-1-59-2). Purleigh however made it a long afternoon in the field, finishing with 295. In the run chase, Boreham were unable to get into second gear, with the field slowing up in the rain, but Kettley with 19 runs and Watts with 14 both got good starts, the firsts eventually being all out for 77.
