Match report Boreham firsts lost by 122 runs to a Rayne team that were at one stage on their way to a massive score before a fine bowling comeback restricted them to 251-9 when a 300 total looked on. Craig Garwood took three wickets, captain Ed Lambert-Clarke took two and wickets apiece for Mat Starling and Ken Greenaway finished off the innings. In response Boreham's new look firsts set themselves up for the chase with a steady Mike Bruder 17, a great 40 from Liam Watts and good knocks from Starling (25) and Lambert-Clarke (30), but with wickets tumbling it wasn't to be.
